Things to do

  • One of the best surfing bays in Cornwall, Booby’s Bay is just a stroll from the house, via the garden. Harlyn Surf School hires out boards, or book a surfing, stand up paddle boarding, coasteering or sea kayaking lesson.
    Boat trips and fishing can also be arranged.

  • Nearby Trevose Golf & Country Club offers one of the UK’s best golf courses. Relax afterwards at The Scarlet Spa in Mawgan Porth with its lantern-lit treatment rooms and cliff-top hot tub.

    Enjoy a coastal walk, such as Trevose to Padstow via Stepper Point, Bedruthan Steps to Trevose, or over to Constantine Bay. OS maps are provided.

    Hire bikes from Padstow Cycle Hire and discover the Camel Trail on two wheels.

    If you fancy staying closer to home, we can arrange for personal trainers, beauty and massage therapists, and even yoga and Pilates instructors, to come to the house.

  • Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at any SimonEscapes houses.

  • All SimonEscapes houses are non-smoking.

  • Check in is at 4.00pm; check out is at 10.00am.

  • Parking spaces are provided for guests at all our houses.

  • UK houses – Housekeeping during your stay is available at additional cost, upon request. Please discuss your requirements with us before you book.

    Overseas houses – Housekeeping is complimentary at our overseas houses (along with a full team of staff at Godings Beach House, Barbados). Please ask us for details before you book.

    A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are available at each house for guests’ use.
