- Take a walk into Chipping Campden (8 – 10 minutes from Elkstones)
- Campden Gallery, well worth a look, I have bought a number of pieces
- Robert Welch the famous kitchen interior shop
- Bennett's fine wines
- Have coffee and cakes in Badgers tea rooms
- Pop along to Maylam's deli and choose some fresh local bread and order some freshly caught fish
- Dine at the 8 Bells
- If feeling energetic, take a walk up the hill from Elkstones and visit Lapstones (approx 1.5 miles); a really cool 18th century barn conversion which hosts an amazing shop of interior ideas, a courtyard of outdoor dining displays, a hairdressers, spa and cafe.
- Visit Dalesfords organic shop, wonderful organic produce, have lunch and just people watch
- Dinner at the Horse & Groom, for great Gastro pub food
- Take a spa treatment at the new Cotswold House hotel spa
- Go for a run through Broad Campden and back (approx 5 miles)
- Take one of the various mapped out walks and call en route into one of the lovely local traditional pubs
